Position Summary:
Responsible for the administrative leadership of the Oncology Service Line . The Oncology Service Line includes the following : Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Women’s and Breast Centers, Infusion Centers, Cancer Registry/Accreditation, Institutional Review Board, Cancer Research Program . Responsible for strategic planning, recruitment, financial, clinical, business operations, quality, nursing practice, and growing market share for Oncology Services . Develops, directs and ensures the implementation and compliance of Standards of Practice that promote optimum healthcare delivery. Responsibilities also include a knowledge of social, economic, regulatory and legal issues affecting the healthcare system; seeks all opportunities for keeping staff updated in healthcare practices. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Master’s Degree required.
Experience: A minimum of five years’ experience in a Cancer Care Services and 2 years management experience required . Nurse Manager/Administrative experience preferred.
