Position Summary:
Receive and process histology and cytology specimens. Complete patient registrations; including entering patient demographics, insurance information, etc. Works closely with pathologists, pathology assistant, histology and cytology staff to prepare specimens for appropriate examination. Works to ensure a clean workspace; assisting in managing hazardous waste. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
