PGY2 Oncology Resident

The Post-Graduate Year 2 (PGY2) Oncology Pharmacy Resident is responsible for performing all activities assigned during individual rotations with a primary focus on providing quality care to hematology / oncology patients. This resident will have project management responsibilities as they relate to hematology / oncology care within the St. Lukes health system. The resident will also provide facilitation and didactic training for the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy and will serve in the capacity of a preceptor while on site within our health system.

The staffing component of this residency will consist of assignments in the Infusion Therapy Clinic Pharmacy and on decentralized clinical units at St. Lukes.

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education : Doctorate of Pharmacy.

• Experience : Completion of a Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) residency from an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited program.
• Licensure / Certification / Registration : Licensed as a Minnesota Pharmacist or Minnesota Pharmacy Intern Registration with licensure as a Minnesota Pharmacist and ACLS certification within four (4) months of hire into the position.

Extensive ability to perform duties accurately, efficiently while often under stress. Occasionally prolonged standing / walking; occasionally lifts supplies / equipment. Work with Wilderness technicians, Pharmacists, nursing and physician staff as required.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
