Business Intelligence Solutions Developer – Health Plan

As a key member of our Data and Analytics team at St Luke’s, you will be integral in developing innovative analytical solutions for business-critical data supporting our Health Plan. The ideal candidate for this position would have great communication skills, be a curious self-starter, have great analytical and problem-solving skills, have a background in health insurance and have a passion for delivering technical solutions that enable time-sensitive, critical decisions.

- Design, develop, and maintain BI reports, dashboard, and data visualizations using BI tools with Epic Cogito, Microsoft and Databricks technologies.
Required Criteria:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years related experience
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and Report: Analyzes business intelligence needs and requirements. Designs and customizes analytical dashboards and reports in response.
- Collaborate and Prioritize: Work closely with key business stakeholders in the Health Plan to understand and prioritize requirements.
- Design, Develop and Configure: Collaborate with the Tapestry applications team, the Actuary and Analytics Team and the Data and Analytics team to design, configure, and develop custom and standard analytical solutions from a variety of sources.
- Test and Troubleshoot: Participate in testing methodologies, ensuring the functionality and integrity of our reporting solutions. Troubleshoots and resolves errors and solves complex technical problems.
- Research and Development: Identify and implement EPIC Tapestry Cogito and other data and analytics technologies to streamline Health Plan solutions.
- Support and Collaborate: Partner with teams across departments to provide exceptional support, ensuring data accuracy and actionable insights for the St Luke’s Health Plan. Troubleshoots complex issues and problems using methodical problem analysis techniques.
- Health Insurance and Technical Expertise: Develop and possesses related Health Insurance and Technical Knowledge
Experience/Qualifications:
- Health Insurance experience
- Epic Tapestry experience
- SQL Proficiency: 2 years of writing SQL queries.
- BI Tools: Experience with Epic Cogito, Power BI or Tableau.
- Database Expertise: Familiarity with relational databases. Knowledge of Databricks or similar platforms being a plus.
