Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Development Assistant with strong social media expertise to join our team. This role will support our advancement initiatives, including fundraising, donor relations, events, and marketing efforts, with a focus on enhancing our online presence and engagement through social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Development Support

• Maintain and update donor databases, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and organized records of contributions and communication history.
• Process gifts, generate acknowledgment letters promptly, and prepare reports.
• Provide ongoing support for Annual Fund campaigns, including mailings, email communications, and follow-ups.
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising campaigns, donor outreach, and special events including invitations, RSVPs, vendor coordination, and day-of logistics.
• Collaborate on stewardship efforts, such as donor recognition materials, event follow-up, and impact reporting.
• Serve as a point of contact for alumni, assisting with communication, event invitations, and updates to the alumni database.
• Collaborate with the Parent Association and volunteers on development initiatives and event support.
  
  

Social Media Management

• Capture photos and videos at events for social media and development campaigns. Create, schedule, and manage content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
• Develop a content calendar that aligns with the school’s mission and advancement goals, featuring PA events, alumni stories, and donor recognition.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and engage followers to build relationships and visibility.
• Ensure consistent branding and alignment with advancement goals.
• Analyze social media metrics to optimize strategies for better engagement and reach.
• Stay current on social media trends to identify opportunities for enhancing the school’s digital presence.
