**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist surgical teams with preparing the operating room for procedures and ensuring proper equipment is available.
- Participate in safety initiatives to verify patient identification and procedure details prior to surgery.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to maintain a clean and organized operating environment.
- Count and verify surgical instruments and supplies as required by facility policies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
- Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
