Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist II to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care during operative and invasive procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist staff during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment
- Prepare the operating room for procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Act as a preceptor for other techs as needed, sharing your expertise and knowledge
- Work collaboratively with Housekeeping and Central Processing staff to maintain a clean and well-stocked operating room
- Participate in safety initiatives to ensure correct patient identification and verification of procedures
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments with the circulating RN on all surgical procedures
