What are the responsibilities and job description for the Church Office Manager position at St Maron Church?
Responsibilities include:
* Preparation of Church correspondence
- Receive and send mail
- Preparation and production of Church bulletin
- Act as in-person, e-mail, and phone receptionist
- Maintain Church files and data bases
- Ordering and storage of office supplies
- Maintaining office equipment and arranging repairs if needed
- Assist Business Manager with various financial transactions and other projects
- Assist Pastor with various projects
- Help organize and work with volunteers
General Requirements: Ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals in an effective and warm welcoming manner. Ability to multitask. Excellent organizational skills. Able to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to follow directions/requests of Pastor and Business Manager. Excellent typing, editing, and written communication skills. Must have a professional attitude and appearance. Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook). Willingness to learn new software products as needed. Experience in Catholic Parish life and familiarity with the Catholic liturgical calendar.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
