Position Overview:
The Development Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining the organization's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Raiser’s Edge), generating reports to support fundraising and outreach efforts, and providing general administrative support to the department. This role plays a crucial role in ensuring data accuracy, providing valuable insights, and facilitating informed decision-making. Reporting to the Director of Development & Community Engagement, the Development Operations Manager is a vital member of the development and community engagement team, ensuring efficient department operations and supporting the organization's fundraising goals, including the accurate processing of gifts, coordination of fundraising campaigns, assisting with donor communications, data management and more.
Examples of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
● Work cooperatively with the Development & Community Engagement team;
● Responsible for the day-to-day office operation, including general office support, calendar coordination, correspondence, scheduling, gift documentation and acknowledgements, data entry, and event support;
● Serve as liaison on key partnerships with fundraising platforms and fiduciary partners to ensure donations and outreach efforts are tracked accurately and donors receive thank you and other acknowledgement letters;
● Continuously support and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of fundraising and operations processes and systems; and
● Assist with event coordination with inter departmental teams, pre and post event duties as well as set up/break down and other tasks as needed.

● Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Raiser’s Edge/Blackbaud, Teams, Asana, Zoom and more.
Employment Standards:
● Ability to operate and use a broad spectrum of tools and equipment skillfully and safely perform physical labor, such as bending, standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and carrying 50 lbs. ;
● Follow oral and written instructions;
● Maintain cooperative working relationships;
● Hours are 40 hours per week, year-round, nights and weekends are expected; and
● The candidate will be required to pass a national background check with fingerprints.
