Indirect Dealer Relationship Manager Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in specialized coursework, training or experience; at least two years’ experience in the indirect lending business preferred
- Demonstrated business development/sales experience
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products preferred
- Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and clean driving record; local travel will be required
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Cooperative and teamwork mindset

Indirect Dealer Relationship Manager Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for attracting, retaining and growing indirect lending business with auto dealers utilizing an indirect sales approach
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales and service goals
- Liaison for the Indirect Lending Program to auto dealers through direct contact; present products, make recommendations, overcome objections and provide support and direction.
- Travel throughout the SMCU service area approximately 80% of the time
- Build and nurture positive relationships with auto dealerships through service excellence
- Keep current on competition in the market; recommend Indirect Lending Program enhancements or adjustments
- Attend various networking and promotional events
- Work with car dealerships to implement marketing ideas, new policies and procedural changes
- Responsible for determining business development opportunities and identifying cross-selling opportunities
