This position reports to the Sr. Program Administrative Manager and works in collaboration with the Program Outreach Specialist, Career Services Specialist, and staff instructors. Core responsibilities include front line oversight of student resources and client assistance.

Job Responsibilities/Duties
Student Resources:
- Conducts initial identification of student issues and assesses needs for additional assistance from community resources using the Self Sufficiency Matrix
- Maintains list of community resources and provide referral information to students as needed
- Dental services, housing, vision care, emergency shelters, domestic violence services, rental assistance, utility assistance, veteran’s services, employment advisors, and other services that might help our students
- Networks with other community groups/networks to explore all resources available to students
- Attends resource fairs to gather information about resources that may benefit students (ie: free haircuts, dental assistance, housing resources etc)
- Communicates community resource information through student bulletin board or other communication means
- Coordinates receipt of emergency food boxes and SNAP enrollment for qualified participants
- Assists students by providing transportation to appointments and/or meeting when needed
- Oversees the acceptance, record keeping, check requests, and halfway house payments for participants using the housing benefit
- Works with partners such as Maricopa County and WIOA programs to coordinate payment for individuals who qualify
- Assist students with obtaining ID’s or necessary documents to prepare for working
- Assist in creation of development action plan as needed and placed in student file for students that need additional support or resources (Individual Educational Plan)
- Facilitates conversations with students and program staff related to student performance and behavior issues and assist in creation of development action plan as needed. Ensures all conversations are accurately documented and placed in student file
- Ensures student disciplinary and grievance process is followed including all paperwork is completed accurately and placed in student file
- Serves as liaison to students’ case managers, parole officers, etc.
- Tracks and monitors student attendance and documents reasons for absences and tardiness.
- Maintains student photograph files including headshots and in-action.
- Assists in prepares administrative reports, professional correspondence and student success stories on a routine and as needed basis
- Participates in creating department short and long range plans to ensure student needs are met.
- Assists with a variety of program administrative functions as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, social/behavioral sciences or equivalent and/or three or more years’ experience in social services or student affairs work or related specialty
