Job DetailsMedical Surgical / Post Surgical CoverageThe Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team, responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the Post Surgical unit.They will assess patients on admission and throughout the stay, involving patients and their caregivers in the plan development and updating as necessary throughout stay.The RN will be required to administer IV medications, IV therapy, blood and its components according to clinical standards and policies.
Job RequirementsBLS certification required1 year previous nursing experience preferredTravelers with actions on license and hits on background will not be considered.Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.
Schedule InformationUp to 16 hours of orientation is unpaidSt. Mary's has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13 week contractCandidate must reside outside of a 50 mile radius.
