Feeding Technician

Brief Description

The Feeding Technician is responsible for data entry, assists with clerical and other various daily routine procedures and performs duties necessary for program development. Supports hospital’s mission to provide the highest quality care by complying with regulatory guidelines and meeting agency standards.

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Enters information into data base and assists with preparing graphs for meeting/reports as needed.
• Participates in team meetings, in-services, and department meetings.
• Completes Relias and/or any hospital mandatory training programs by the assigned date.
• Cooperates and consults with appropriate staff to assure data accuracy & completion.
• Assists the team with audio/visual transfer of training materials for caregivers.
• Assists the team with admission/discharge necessities.
• Assists program with daily tasks as needed.
  
  

Non-essential Duties

• Participates in the quality improvement program of the facility.
  
  

Requirements

Formal education required:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Previous Experience Required

Experience with excel & data entry preferred.
