Hiring Range : $17.51 - $23.42
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilities:
- Greets patients and visitors, answers general inquiries, and schedules patients for appointments.Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls. Performs general clerical duties including filing, email correspondence, and mail distribution. Creates various reports and documents.
- Communicates with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care.
- Performs unit safety checks. Assists with meeting patient needs and escalates as appropriate.
- May enter and maintain timekeeping changes and staff schedules.
- May assist with stocking supplies and keeping unit and patient rooms clean and orderly.
Complexity of Work:
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Preferred Credential(s):
- BLS provider within 1 month ( 30 days) of hire.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
