St. Mary's High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time English Teacher to join our faculty. Responsibilities:
Teach English courses at the high school level, with a focus on literature, writing, and critical thinking.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations.
Provide constructive feedback to students to foster academic growth.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support student learning and school initiatives.
Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning atmosphere.
Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain certification).
Previous teaching experience at the high school level preferred.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Ability to integrate technology into the classroom.
Schedule & Compensation:
Part-time position teaching on Tuesdays and Thursdays
