Who We Are
Founded in 1889 as an orphanage for abandoned and wayward children, today St. Mary's Home for Boys offers residential and day treatment services to at-risk boys between the ages of 13 and 17 who have emotional and behavioral issue. The individualized program provides each client with a structured regimen to ensure his successful transition to public school, the community and an appropriate living environment.
What You Will Do:
- Designs, implements, and evaluates the cottage program to ensure a safe, secure, sensitive, and sanitized environment.
- Monitor's each client's file to ensure documentation of all special programs implemented during the client's entire stay.
- Directs the development and implementation of an effective transition program for each client.
- Prepares staff work schedules in the best interest of the cottage and clients.
- Continuously monitors the dispensing of medication.
- Responsible for training and coaching staff members of the cottage.
Ensure all incidents are formally documented and copies are distributed to the correct staff.
What You Need:
- BA/BS degree required. Preferably in Psychology, Sociology, Administration of Justice or other Behavioral Science field.
- 3 years experience with cognitive/behavioral programming experience in a residential treatment facility or similar setting.
- Master's degree in Behavioral Science or Business Management (Preferred).
Additional Information:
- Starting rate: Minimum of $59,425 to $65,347 per year. (Depending on experience)
- Primary shift days: Monday through Friday (6:45 am to 2:45 pm)
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
- Ability to pass State and FBI background checks with fingerprints
