What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Outreach Coordinator position at St. Mary's Legacy Clinic?
We are searching for a talented and professional Community Outreach Coordinator to initiate, manage, and maintain all community outreach activities, and our partnerships. The Community Outreach Coordinator will represent St. Mary’s Legacy Clinic (SMLC) and work with the management team to develop and implement initiatives that increase visibility within the communities we serve, while expanding and managing our partnerships. The Community Outreach Coordinator will need to be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and community-driven to take on this exciting role. This position requires someone equipped with a positive attitude and readiness to be a team player.
Purpose of position: Involve a community of supporters to achieve SMLC’s mission, vison, and live our values. The Community Outreach Coordinator oversees the planning and implementation of SMLC’s outreach strategies. Primary responsibilities include - creating partnerships, sponsorship agreements, and cultivating relationships with businesses, individuals, and other relevant organizations within the broader community to promote excellence in patient care and growth of SMLC.
Specific duties and responsibilities:
Community Outreach
- Maintain a calendar of outreach activities including community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities.
- Cultivate volunteers and team members to support key areas of work as described above.
- Develop and maintain collegial relationships with peers in the field and with area volunteer organizations to ensure best practices for our volunteer and collaborative partnerships.
Relationship Management
- Nurture new and old relationships and foster collaborative partnerships.
- Develop, implement, and maintain complete and accurate records including partnership policies, procedures, and contracts if applicable.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on all partnership activities.
- Evaluate, implement, and maintain a system for partnership administration, coordination, and insights.
Communications
- Serve as primary point of contact for all requests for collaborative relationships including telephone, voicemail, email, social media, and written requests and ensure a timely response.
- Communication Strategy- Develop, implement, and disseminate appropriate collateral materials, website, and social media for recruitment of and communication with current and potential partners.
Clinical Partnerships
- Manage clinical partnerships to include scheduling partners on clinic days, and communication with partners and supporters.
Calendar
- Manage the Long-Range calendar, along with the website calendar.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- A leader who takes initiative within boundaries of responsibility and works independently.
- Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs and cloud-based systems.
- Proven marketing, advertising, and social media abilities with record of reaching a target audience and compelling action to a cause.
- Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated written and oral communication abilities, including Public Speaking, Networking, and Group Training.
- Project, Event, and Change Management expertise demonstrated in the field of Partnership/ Relationship Management.
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Must be able to pass a background check successfully.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with creative and cloud base productivity applications: We use Salesforce, Hubspot, Asana, Teams, Blackbaud, Wix, Athena, Canva, and the Adobe Creative Suite Applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat DC Pro).
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media strategies
- Bilingual in English/Spanish and/or Bilingual in English/Vietnamese
Physical demands:
- Must be able to sit at and work on a computer for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and able to climb up to 5 steps repetitively.
- Must be able to assist with the physical set-up and take-down of the mobile clinic, including lifting, bending, squatting, and climbing ladders.
