Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
To provide customer service to students, faculty, and staff who conduct business in the Office of Student Activities (OSA). To support OSA staff in the execution of their responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, including students, faculty, staff, and occasionally, parents.
- Assist students with financial paperwork required for Student Organization business.
- Approve Student Organization publicity posters, sign out and sign in resources to student organizations such as iPads, laptops, Ole Card swipers, and cash boxes
- Answer the office phone in a professional manner, direct calls, and relay complete messages.
- Perform errands as needed throughout Buntrock Commons and the St. Olaf campus.
- Perform general office duties such as mail pick up, word and spreadsheet processing, and copying.
- Maintain supplies of popcorn, candy, and poster room materials throughout the day. Perform tasks as assigned by OSA staff
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
- Excellent writing skills as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
- Ability to use appropriate concepts and tools to complete tasks
- Ability to work well independently and to collaborate effectively with staff
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Desire to work in a professional office setting Positive attitude and interest in the OSA’s programs and resources
