IMPORTANT : STUDENTS MUST HAVE A STATE OR FEDERAL WORK AWARD TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR COMMUNITY BASED WORK STUDY (CBWS) POSITIONS. Student CBWS work eligibility is subject to change due to work award re-determinations over the summer. This means even students who were a chosen applicant for the position may be ineligible to work if they do not have a state / federal work award come Fall 2024. Description of the Position : (Purpose of the Position) :
The objective of the Reads and Counts Tutor is to motivate and guide Northfield students'
academic success through weekly tutoring sessions. Tutoring is provided in 3 elementary schools within the Northfield School District.
This position is expected to serve as a positive role model for children in the Northfield School District. Tutors, when hired, will be paired with a teacher based on schedule availability.
