Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering a love of learning in young children and committed to creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the curriculum guidelines.
- Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of students.
- Assess and document students' progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement instructional strategies.
- Participate in school-wide activities and initiatives, including faith-based activities and community events.
- Maintain effective classroom management and implement positive behavior strategies.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Uphold the values and mission of St. Patrick Catholic School.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification in the state of Alabama.
- Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and faith-based learning environment.
- Ability to integrate technology effectively into the classroom.

Pay: $39,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
