Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in various areas including social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
- Provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children in your care.
- Engage children in play-based learning activities that encourage exploration and creativity.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Maintain classroom management by establishing rules and routines that promote positive behavior.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
- Administer first aid when necessary and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support children with special needs or developmental challenges through tailored activities and individualized attention.
Qualifications
- Experience in childcare, babysitting, nannying, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly learning environment.
- First aid certification is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Experience working with students in daycare or educational settings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
