Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the operations and programs of the Vogelweid Learning Center and Vogelweid at Helias.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students academically, socially, and emotionally.
Train and guide staff on best practices for working with students with special needs.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education.
Create a welcoming, inclusive environment aligned with the Catholic values of St. Peter School.
Works with the St. Peter Catholic School Principal to create a budget.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (required) or Master’s degree (preferred) in Special Education.
Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
Experience working with special needs students, with a focus on individual growth and success.
Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
A commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a leadership or administrative role.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
