- On behalf of the Director of Nursing, provides for the continuity of nursing services in the development, implementation and evaluation of quality nursing care to residents and families
- Will serve as the on-site administrative person for the facility and oversee staff to promote patient and staff safety
- Demonstrates the organization's commitment to sound ethical business practices as directed by the Corporate Compliance Office and approved by the Board of Trustees
- Demonstrate SPHP's Standards of Behavior and Core ValuesMinimum Requirements :
- Valid NYS RN license
- Associate's degree in nursing
- Current CPR and BLS or achieve with onsite training
- 1 yr of experience as a RNPreferred Requirements :
- 1 yr of experience in a leadership role overseeing staff
- 1 yr of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
- MDS experience
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilities
- Excellent communication in a fast pace work environment across teams on different shifts
- Strong engagement within a team setting
- Leadership and mentorship skills overseeing RNs, LPNs and C.N.A staff
- Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing fieldPay Range : $36.50 - $58.55Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
