The Front Desk Agent answers incoming telephone calls and greets visitors in a friendly, interested, and helpful manner. He or she sets the tone for our company by being an outstanding listener and information source and knows all points-of-contact for every department within the company to promptly assist customers. In addition, he or she performs administrative duties and operates the telephone switchboard for call routing.
The ideal candidate has some post high school education or training and experience in a position of similar responsibility (front desk, administrative assistant, etc.) is preferred. Candidates must have a pleasant and courteous personality, strong administrative and organizational skills, strong phone and computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
- Must be congenial and hospitable
- Responds to members' needs
- Greets all members in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner; and by name if possible
- Serves as the main information center for members and employees
- Manages inbound phone inquiries and routes calls accordingly
- Takes reservations for dining room and Club events
- Sells commissary goods
- Reconciles valet tickets
- Takes member payments
- Prepares daily cash deposits
- Reconciles cash drawer
- Must be willing and able to work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays.
- Pages managers and employees as needed
- Issues letters of introduction and guest cards
- Maintains lost and found
- Issues parking decals
- Answers emails
- Keeps daily log
- Provides administrative assistance as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required; some post high school education or training preferred
- Two years of relevant experience preferred
- Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
- Highly professional and dependable
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent telephone skills
- Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
