As a thriving school, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Information Technology to lead our growing IT team and support our mission.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategic plan aligned with the school's overall vision and goals.
- Oversee all aspects of the school’s technological infrastructure, including network, servers, software, cybersecurity, devices (laptops, desktops, tablets), and peripherals (printers, copiers, phones, etc).
- Lead our IT team, providing training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Manage IT budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Maintain a strong understanding of emerging educational technologies and implement them to enhance the learning experience for students and faculty.
- Partner with faculty and staff to integrate technology effectively into the curriculum and daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant data privacy regulations.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for all IT systems.
- Uphold the values and mission of the school in all technology-related decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within an IT department, preferably in an educational setting.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful IT strategic plans.
- Strong understanding of network management, cybersecurity principles, data security best practices, and educational technology trends.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Experience working within a budget and managing resources effectively.
