Maintenance Supervisor

Title: Maintenance Supervisor, Full time

Reports to: Business Manager and/or Pastor

Overview

St. Thomas More Parish is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and assist with general maintenance for parish buildings and property.

Job Requirements

• Maintaining all property buildings.
• Oversee & complete general maintenance projects weekly.
• Schedule completion of special maintenance projects, in a timely manner as they arise. Addressing urgent maintenance issues and coordinating response to emergencies.
• Maintain and monitor inventory of supplies on a regular basis.

• Managing and supervising maintenance associates, assigning tasks based on skill sets, and providing training and performance evaluations.

• Monitoring maintenance costs, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring adherence to budget allocations
• Schedule and oversee work by vendors for regular repair service, as budget dictates.
• Assist Pastor, Business Manager and Finance Council with budgeting for long term fix asset projects (roof, parking lot exterior painting, etc.)
• Schedule emergency repair visits from vendors, in a timely manner.
• Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory, generating reports on maintenance status and performance metrics.
• Enforcing safety regulations, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring all maintenance activities are performed with safety protocols in place.
• Facilitate the scheduling of opening and closing of facility daily as dictated by facility calendar of events.
• Assist departments with the physical aspects of their programs; set ups.
• Maintain and oversee inventory of parish property and furnishings.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years minimum experience in Facility Management
• Ability to work efficiently and prioritize.
• Ability to work well with parishioners, staff members and supervise others.
• Budget experience.
• Ability to work indoors as well as outdoors.
• Must be available for Emergency On call access.
• Ability to lift approximately 50lbs.without assistance.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, stoop, push, pull, climb continuously.
• Must pass a post offer DOV assigned physical exam.
