Summary
As the Admissions Processor at St. Thomas University, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall quality and accuracy of student records, applications, and documents in the Admissions CRM (Slate). Your responsibilities will include managing essential application processes, reviewing and updating student documents, and various other duties to ensure the smooth functioning of application processing.
Essential Functions
- Reviewing application data hygiene reports and processes.
- Processing and uploading applicant documents and materials.
- Responding to inquiries about transcripts and other documents with accuracy and professionalism.
- Assisting with application updates, deferrals, and withdrawals.
- Ensuring the flow of high-quality data from Slate to other campus systems.
- Entering inquiry cards and visiting student applications into the appropriate locations.
- Assigning admissions correspondence, such as emails and text messages.
- Overseeing the offices incoming mailed documents.
- Supporting the admissions team at campus events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by director or vice president.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inputting information accurately into all campus systems.
- Processing of admissions documents.
- Supporting overall office operations.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree required.
- Previous document processing experience.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including prompt responsivity.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 10-20 pounds occasionally.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- Primarily M-F 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with occasional early/late evening events, and weekend.
- Office environment with occasional campus events.
- Mobility and occasional lifting required.
Travel
- Rare but occasional travel to high school, college campuses or events in the metro area to assist admissions counselors with events and college fairs when needed.
