St. Vincent de Paul School in Fort Wayne is looking for three part time After School Care staff members for the 2022-2023 academic year, serving approximately 2:45pm-5:00pm daily. This staff member will be responsible for integrating the mission of St. Vincent’s Catholic School and the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend as directed by our After School Care Director and School Administration. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understands, believes in, and communicates joyfully about the St. Vincent’s mission in all endeavors.
- Implements the after school care instructional / organizational program as directed by our After School Director.
- Assists with maintaining an attractive, organized, and engaging after care environment.
- Maintains appropriate control through positive discipline techniques to enhance the after care environment.
- Performs assigned duties when needed for the supervision of students as relevant, and any other duties assigned by the After Care Directory and/or School Administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Successful experience in schools, childcare, or teaching/coaching
- Positive references and recommendations
- Clear ability to promote and witness to our Roman Catholic Faith
- Basic understanding and acceptance of Catholic school philosophy, goals and objectives
