St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School in Fort Wayne is seeking a school social worker or counselor to serve grades K-4 and work alongside our lead counselor, who supports student and staff and in grades 5-8. Our social worker / counselor team helps lead our community to Christ by supporting well being in a variety of supports. These may include quarterly full-class instruction, 1:1 supports, small group supports, developing and implementing our anti-bullying curriculum in our Community in Christ Time, supporting our PBIS frameworks and best practices (which we call VBIS for virtuous behavior, interventions, and supports), and other duties as assigned by administration. Our counselor team is a vital part of the well being of the building, leading many to behavioral and academic success.
