We have an immediate opening for a Full Time Pricer. The work schedule is Mon-Fri 8am to 4pm. Someone who takes pride in being at work on time as scheduled, every day and has previous retail or thrift store experience, knows value of merchandise to price items and is able to work efficiently and independently.

This position is a very physical job and we need "boots on the ground" capability and mentality!! You'd be on your feet. Excellent Attendance is a MUST!! We have one open position in pricing within our apparel department. Other opportunities may arise to assist in other pricing lines. It is responsible for processing donations for sale by preparing, organizing, pricing, tagging, cleaning, and disposing items, as well as providing excellent customer service, and helping with the day-to-day operations, consistent with the mission and vision of St. Vincent De Paul.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Ensures the proper sorting, cleaning and pricing of donated, used merchandise to prepare for sale in the stores
Has a means of reliable transportation and arrives to work on time and ready to go
Maintains the cleanliness and security of the pricing area
Treat customers, coworkers and volunteers with dignity and respect in accordance with SVdP-GB mission and values
Communicate concerns and pertinent information to supervisors and managers
Organizes pricing tags, supplies and merchandise
Assists with stocking and displaying priced merchandise in store
Other duties as assigned or requested by supervisor
Education and/or Experience Requirements
- High school education or the equivalent required
- Thrift store experience a plus

- While performing the duties of this position, you would be very active your entire shift. the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is standing and walking (90%); bending at waist to lift objects; using hands to finger, handle and grasp objects; and reaching with hands and arms above shoulders to hang merchandise (90%) . This position requires the ability to lift merchandise, up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 40 pounds frequently. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, ability to distinguish colors to price merchandise and ability to adjust focus.'
