Location : Lockport, NY
Hours : 7 AM - 4 PM Monday - Friday, some on call days as well
Pay Range : $22.00-$25.00 an hour depending on experience
Benefits :Job Summary :
The Charter Sales Coordinator will communicate and issue quotes to clients, articulating the company’s capabilities to clients. Candidates must have strong phone and computer skills. They must work to coordinate transportation for school activities, school sports, and private charters. Candidates will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing accounts and potential new accounts.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Quoting transportation costs to current & potential clients in a timely fashion.
- Gathering details and itineraries from clients and updating trips.
- Communicating with clients and coworkers via phone and email.
- Following up on sales leads.
- Keep accurate records and submit reports as required.
- Participates in meetings in order to meet customer’s needs.
- Assist with monthly billing and timely collections as needed.
- Thorough understanding of customer needs.
- May be responsible for routing; includes resolving routing issues, developing routes for trips, maintaining files with information regarding pickup / drop off times, addresses, and phone numbers.
- Communicating with customers and other STA personnel, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Strong computer skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products (including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills, and ability to complete work accurately within given deadlines.
- Willingness to learn new software programs as needed in a timely manner.
- Ability to perform work accurately, thoroughly, and quickly within time frames allowed.
- Excellent navigation skills.
- Ability to work well with others to accomplish goals in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attend work on a regular and dependable basis
- Ability to successfully pass state and / or federal required Background Checks
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job
- Ability to comply with all policies and procedures established by company
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of sales experience, preferred but not required
- One (1) year Charter Bus sales experience, preferred but not required
