MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / COMPETENCIES
Reporting to the Sr. Manager - Finance, the incumbent will be crucial in optimizing STAAR financial systems and processes using their expertise in Oracle Fusion Finance applications. Responsibilities will include collaborating with the Accounting, Finance and IT teams to design, implement, and support technical solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Requirement Analysis
- Partners with business stakeholders to analyze, define and document business requirements, within and across functional areas
- Drives best practices during requirements gathering and modeling
- Has a strong focus on gathering core requirements, beyond stated requirements and correctly places these within a broader context
- Understands business environment and helps to connect / align relevant business stakeholders
Process Modeling and Design
Partners with business stakeholders to analyze, define and document business processes within and across functional areasDrives best practices during requirements gathering and modelingUnderstands business environment and helps to connect / align relevant business stakeholdersManages stakeholder expectations and communications within and beyond functional trackSolution Design

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and work.EXPERIENCE
5 years of relevant experience.Extensive experience in Oracle Cloud Applications with multi-ledger, multi-currency environments.Extensive experience in a couple of Oracle Cloud Financial Modules such as GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, Costing etc.Must have worked in a leading consulting company or in a well-known international Company in the implementation, support of the projects, and production support.Prior private or public accounting experience highly desired.Worked as Sr Systems Analyst or Support Analyst for Oracle Fusion ERP application modules.Hands-on experience in designing and configuring ERP application implementation and maintenance.Worked in a couple of Oracle fusion EPM application modules will be preferable.QUALIFICATIONS
Have in-depth finance and accounting functional knowledge to understand business requirements and convert them into functional and configurable solutionsDeep understanding of the end-to-end accounting transactions from sub-ledgers to GLStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesWillingness to travel occasionally if neededPay range is $120-$150k - Final compensation will depend on experience.
