Independent Aftermarket Manager
Stabilus is a global leader in the production of gas springs and dampers on five continents. Our products can be used in a wide variety of industries, such as the automotive and office chair manufacturing industries, furniture technology, solar industry, medical technology, and many other industrial applications. This position will be located in our U.S. Headquarters in Gastonia, NC.
Objectives
Plans, develops, and manages the sales organization for Stabilus Americas Independent Aftermarket in meeting the revenue growth, profitability goals, and market share objectives.
Main Tasks
- Primary customer representative for Stabilus Americas IAM business segment with responsibility to ensure that customer requirements are determined and addressed with the aim of enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Manage the IAM distribution center maximizing its efficiency and excellence.
- Owner of the IAM program in Americas. Including but not limited to:
- Catalog
- Content
- Contracts and deductions
- Branding and Stabilus value
- Etc..
- Meet the budgeted revenue and profitability goals.
- Ensure new business development activities achieve all customer specification requirements.
- New and current business launch timing, cost, quality, and procedure requirements are achieved.
- Marketing and promotion of Stabilus for IAM business
- Strategic business plan development and implementation for IAM business segment.
- Achieve organization department cost budget objectives.
- Support competitive SWOT analysis to support strategic and tactical market planning initiatives.
- Manage Stabilus customer deliverable contracts, agreements, and obligations.
- Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts:
- Building reports
- Providing technical information and explanations
- Preparing quotations.
- Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features.
- Identify, track, and interpret competitive requirements and actions.
Service:
- Mange customer expectations minimizing Stabilus costs.
- Stock changeovers.
- Marketing expenditure
- Program Allowances
- Among others
- Maintain CRM system updated with the current activities.
Secondary Tasks:
- Proficiency with contact management programs
- Administrative requirements
- Monthly reports
- Weekly priorities
- Input to competitive summaries.
Education, Training, Certifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Logistics, Purchasing, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
Experience:
