Description
Staccato 2011 is seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Generalist to join our People Operations team. This role will be instrumental in supporting HR functions across our growing manufacturing company, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, and fostering a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about enhancing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support various HR functions, including employee relations, benefits, performance management, and HR compliance.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing HR-related inquiries and concerns in a professional and confidential manner.
- Assist with talent acquisition, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding new hires.
- Maintain and update HR records, ensuring accuracy in HRIS, personnel files, and documentation.
- Support the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs to enhance employee engagement and company culture.
- Collaborate with managers to provide guidance on employee relations, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions.
- Assist with payroll auditing, ensuring accuracy in timekeeping, benefits deductions, and compliance with wage laws.
- Coordinate and facilitate training programs, employee development initiatives, and compliance-related training.
- Support HR projects, including climate improvement initiatives, employee recognition programs, and company events.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, and OSHA regulations.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office Suite, and payroll systems (Paylocity experience a plus).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred but not required.
