GENERAL PURPOSE:
Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and influencing the specific elements of a project to ensure completion of a project on time and within budget, while meeting financials and quality goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Capture and document customer business requirements and translate into operational process as well as IT system requirements.
- Track and manage the scope, timeline, and costs of assigned projects and compare with baseline targets
- Create detailed project schedule including Milestones and update throughout life-cycle of the project. [Time]
- Identify program risks proactively and mitigate them through the support of the cross functional team
- Conduct and motivate cross functional team meetings to manage the project and to promote communication and problem resolution
- Identify the expectations of internal and external customers, and strive to meet all applicable to quality robustness, budget, and timing
- Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities to Implementation Team Manager and stakeholder (Internal and External)
- Lead Steering Committee or other high-level management meetings to provide the organization updates on various projects
- Build on existing external relationships with clients and Amware associates to promote future programs
- Assume ownership for the overall completion of the project to defined deliverables and intervenes as necessary to ensuring completion within scope, budget, time and quality parameters.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- PMP certification preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of related work experience to include 2 years of project management experience
- Strong understanding of a 3PL fulfillment operation
- Knowledge of Project & Portfolio Management tools (Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet, Wrike, etc)
- Experience with various Project Management methodologies
