THE POSITION:
STACK is looking for a Director of Marketing who must be a strategic leader responsible for driving high-impact go-to-market initiatives, developing visual content, and crafting compelling brand messaging that effectively promotes STACK’s unique solutions. This role will require a proven track record in product marketing, account-based marketing, and sales enablement. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with leadership, sales, finance, and development teams to refine go-to-market strategies and solidify STACK’s reputation as a premier brand within the data center industry.
As a leader and communicator, the Director of Marketing will bring a deep understanding of the data center, data center development, MSP/CSP, and technology infrastructure markets, with the ability to connect with diverse buyer personas. They will excel in translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging that resonates with target audiences, ensuring both internal teams and external clients are aligned and engaged.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies for new and existing sites and solutions, ensuring accurate positioning and consistent messaging.
  • Product Marketing: Provide strategic direction and creativity by developing assets including videos, one-pagers, sales presentations, brochures, etc., while ensuring an ongoing cadence of go-to-market activity to maintain engagement and support business growth.
  • Account-Based Marketing: Lead an account-based marketing center of excellence, partnering with the Sales Team to identify key prospects and deliver targeted, personalized programs and messaging to the buying teams within target accounts.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop and implement sales enablement materials, equipping the sales team with tailored resources, insights, and tools.
  • Performance Measurement: Define, monitor, and report on KPIs for marketing initiatives, optimizing spend allocation to the highest-performing tactics for the best ROI.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of marketing professionals, cultivating a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct market and competitor product analysis to inform solution trajectory and market positioning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and departments across STACK to drive cohesive strategies and align with business goals.
 
THE DETAILS:
  • Location: Denver, CO (In office)
  • Travel: 20%
  • Compensation: $145k-$155k bonus
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must pass comprehensive background screening
MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 10 years of B2B marketing experience
  • 5 years of marketing leadership experience
  • 2 years of account-based marketing experience
  • 2 years of product marketing experience
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
  • Novice proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign

  • With an in-depth understanding of the data center industry, you bring valuable insights into market strategies, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
  • As a leader, you have a natural ability to inspire, motivate, and unify teams toward a shared vision, creating an environment where collaboration and growth are prioritized.
