We are currently seeking a versatile Property Manager to oversee four unique communities in and around the Columbus, OH region, focusing on property management responsibilities.
Position Overview:
As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing five communities, encompassing all aspects of property management. You will act as the primary point of contact for residents and handle leasing, marketing, and tenant relations.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Management:
- Occupancy and Leasing: Achieve and maintain high occupancy rates by attracting and retaining residents across the three communities. Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote the communities and fill vacancies.
- Home Sales: Oversee the sale of new and vacant homes. Develop and execute sales strategies, conduct showings, and manage the sales process to achieve target sales goals.
- Tenant Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with residents. Address and resolve tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
- Financial Management: Ensure timely collection of all rents and fees. Manage the budget and expenses for each community effectively.
- Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the communities to ensure they meet company standards. Address any issues identified during inspections.
- Evictions and Legal Representation: File evictions and represent the company in court for hearings, non-renewals, evictions, and appeals. Handle all related legal documentation and processes.
- Administrative Tasks: Oversee lease administration, renewals, and terminations. Maintain accurate records and reports related to property management activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, with preference given to those with experience in mobile home communities. Experience in real estate/home sales.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and planning skills with a proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of property management software and tools.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Other Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and handle various administrative tasks.
