HIRING TIME LINE:

SCHEDULE: Trainees will mirror shift schedule of candidate. Full time equivalency preferred, however a minimum monthly shift commitment of 50 hours is required for part time consideration. 75% of scheduled shifts required to be on a transport ambulance, and/or New Employee Orientation (NEO) modules. Candidates are required to proctor NEO on rotations as their team is scheduled. Regularly scheduled field shifts that fall on these NEO weeks will be backfilled.
COMPENSATION: $1 per hour on top of base rate, applicable for all hours worked, regardless of the trainee's presence.
MINIMUM EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Current state EMS certification, with a minimum of two (2) years full time equivalent experience outside the agency, and/or three (3) months within the agency. Full time position preferred. Proven track record of exceptional patient care and clinical expertise, exceeding organizations performance standards. Prior experience in training and mentoring, preferably as an FTO or similar role. Strong communication skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback effectively. Flexibility to work varying shifts and locations as needed.
