As a Sales Manager (SRS), you will play a critical role in the sales achievements of Stadler Service (SRS) for projects spanning diverse markets. You will lead and coordinate interdisciplinary teams composed of Stadler Group employees and staff from our international maintenance locations and drive the successful sale of maintenance contracts for rail vehicles across global markets.

As a Sales Manager (SRS), you will play a critical role in the sales achievements of Stadler Service (SRS) for projects spanning diverse markets. You will lead and coordinate interdisciplinary teams composed of Stadler Group employees and staff from our international maintenance locations and drive the successful sale of maintenance contracts for rail vehicles across global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales projects across multiple locations within the Service Division.
- Collaborate with the vehicle sales team to align service tenders with vehicle purchase agreements and long-term maintenance needs.
- Oversee the preparation of competitive customer proposals, including team coordination, timeline management, and quality assurance.
- Analyze customer contractual terms, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Partner with external service providers, such as consultants and legal advisors, to support sales objectives.
- Prepare for and lead sales meetings with senior management.
- Contribute to the optimization of internal processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Foster collaboration across departments to drive project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in sales, project management, or leadership within the rail, transportation, or transit service industries is required.
- Familiarity with service tenders, contract negotiations, and risk management in maintenance solutions.
- Experience with maintenance concepts for rail fleets or similar transportation systems.
- Strong knowledge of business administration and commercial principles.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
- Must be fluent in English; both verbal and written
- Fluent in German is preferred
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
