What are the responsibilities and job description for the LECTURER- STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION position at Staff and Faculty?
The Department of Strategic Communication is creating a pool of qualified candidates for part-time lecturer positions for openings during the 2024-25 academic year. Possible areas may include but are not limited to, courses in: Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Event Management, Advertising, Media Planning, Visualization/Graphic Design, and Research Methods.
Terminal degree (Ph.D., M.F.A., or M.B.A.) or nonterminal master’s degree preferred. Applicants with an undergraduate degree in a public relations, corporate communication, or advertising-related area of strategic communication and substantial industry experience may also be considered. We prioritize candidates who have a record of successful college teaching and who share our commitment to professional preparation within the context of an interdisciplinary and immersive liberal arts education. A wide variety of specialties will be considered including, but not limited to, strategic planning, account management, event/experiential marketing, art direction/graphic design, and audience/media research.
