Construction Project Coordinator - Greenville, SC
Top Construction Company, is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator for our Greenville, SC office. Responsibilities:
Pre-Construction Phase:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project timelines, schedules, and critical paths.
- Assign and coordinate approved trade partners for activities and purchase orders.
- Conduct pre-construction meetings with stakeholders and trade partners.
- Review blueprints, proposals, purchase orders, and scopes of work, providing valuable feedback to the design team.
- Ensure timely ordering of all required building materials.
- Obtain necessary building permits.
Construction & Building Phase:
- Visit project sites daily, preparing detailed progress reports.
- Maintain a clean and safe project site, adhering to safety protocols.
- Coordinate material deliveries, ensuring they match selections, are undamaged, and ready for installation.
- Confirm the presence and schedule of approved trade partners for their assigned activities.
- Coordinate and schedule building inspections.
- Manage project budgets for assigned projects.
- Attend and participate in weekly meetings with management.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with vendors, customers, and colleagues.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all internal and external communications.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Punch/Closeout Phase:
- Identify and define punch lists in collaboration with clients.
- Educate homeowners on the warranty submission process.
- Develop checklists and assign work to trade partners.
- Coordinate with trade partners to ensure completion of punch list items.
- Assist trade partners in completing punch list items to ensure timely project closure.
Warranty Phase:
- Coordinate and perform warranty work as needed.
Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Bilingual is a plus) with a focus on customer service and professionalism.
- Proficiency in project management and design software, as well as Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong knowledge of construction stages and trades, including framing, siding, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, low-voltage, windows and door installation, drywall, tile, flooring, trim, cabinets, painting, and general handyman work.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and embrace learning and growth opportunities.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Experience with Sage software is a plus.
Experience:
- 0-3 years of professional work experience in the construction trades.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Project Management preferred.
- Knowledge of business-to-business practices and techniques.
