Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain automation and control systems for industrial equipment to ensure peak performance.
- Develop logic and programming for PLCs, drive systems, and combustion control systems to optimize efficiency.
- Create SCADA and operator interface applications for seamless monitoring and control of systems.
- Develop custom computer programs and databases for PLC and SCADA interfaces to streamline data management.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components, employing standard procedures for swift issue resolution.
- Produce project manuals and electrical schematics using CAD software for thorough documentation.
- Craft scopes of work, cost estimates, and budgets for electrical systems to guarantee project feasibility.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of SCR systems, including fluid systems, metallurgy, and maintenance, to offer expert support.
- Assist in the on-site commissioning of SCR systems and share expertise with clients through training and presentations.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8years of experience in chemical or manufacturing industries, specializing in industrial processing equipment, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Proficiency in Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC and drive systems.
- CAD proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Experience with SCADA systems, HMI applications, computer programming, networking, and database management.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to stay updated on technical knowledge.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 35% of the time.
