Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Maintenance Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supervising skilled trades, ensuring smooth operations, and driving continuous improvement within our maintenance team. Your responsibilities include:
- Team Supervision: Spend approximately 90% of your time overseeing skilled trades, including pipefitters, electricians, and mechanics. Provide support and guidance to ensure operational excellence.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Dedicate 10% of your time to diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical issues within machining centers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Maintenance Team Leader to align with maintenance cost structures and operational goals.
- Preventive Maintenance Audits: Conduct weekly audits to improve visibility and effectiveness of the preventive maintenance program.
- Proven ability to lead a team of union-skilled trades in a collaborative and productive environment.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, as well as implementing preventive maintenance programs.
- Familiarity with SAP systems is required.
- Active engagement in fostering a strong maintenance safety culture.
- Preferred candidates will have a background in engineering, along with experience working in maintenance, safety, and union environments.
