Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication processes and be proficient in various techniques such as welding, assembly, and the use of machinery. This role is essential in ensuring that components are manufactured to high standards and meet industry codes and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Set up mills, drill presses, saws and operate machines daily
- Review blue prints and product requirements
- Measure and inspect parts daily, including first article
- Deburr and properly mark/identify finished product
- Monitor tool wear daily and insure stock is kept on-hand
- Perform daily maintenance on equipment
- Meet daily production requirements
- Cross train in all aspects of production
Ideal Requirements:
- 2-6 years of experience
- Familiarity with all forms of machine tools – mills, lathes, hand tools, presses, saws, etc
- Knowledge of working with various metals including stainless steel
- Ability to read, understand, and verify blueprint drawing/machining requirements; Ability to read, interpret, and verify drawings
- Knowledge of jigs/fixtures/material holding applications required
- Ability to read tape measure and use basic shop tools like calipers
- Knowledge of inspection/gauging/quality a must; knowledge of carpentry a plus
- Attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; forklift experience and/or certification a plus
- Abide by all safety requirements and promote a safe work environment
- Ability to work as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
