This is a Contract to Hire position for a Brake Press Operator / Fabricator on 1st shift in Pflugerville, TX. The opportunity provides an hourly rate of $19-20/hr and a work schedule of Monday through Friday, 7am - 3:30pm. Overtime may be necessary at times.
- Must be able to read engineering / specification drawings to obtain information regarding the fabricating of components
- Set-up and operate fabricating machinery, such as turret punch press, manual & robotic brake press, CNC Mill and CNC Lathe, or other similar fabrication equipment
- Verify conformance of parts to specifications, using precision measuring equipment
Work Experience
- Must be able to read, write and speak English at a satisfactory level
- Requires the use of shop mathematics, geometry and trigonometry
- Must be able to lift 45 pounds
- Must have a minimum of two years experience as a machine operator as outlined above
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be authorized for work in the United States
