About the Job
We are looking for a skilled EHS Manager to join our team in East Providence, Rhode Island. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for managing the EHS personnel, implementing our EHS management system, and driving continuous improvement.
Job Summary
- Manage the EHS personnel and ensure compliance with Interplex policies.
- Lead site operations to achieve effective execution of the EHS management system.
- Develop and implement solutions to EHS issues and establish improvement strategies.
Responsibilities
- Provide recommendations to site management on changes to improve current programs, policies, personnel, and measurements.
- Communicate goals to site personnel and provide feedback on performance.
- Establish task lists with owners and due dates and follow up to ensure timely completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering.
- Minimum 7 years management experience, including at least 5 years leading a site on EHS topics.
- Knowledge of state and federal EHS regulations and industry requirements.
