Entry Level Test Technician
Hiring an Entry Level Test Technician to support qualification testing for a government contract to supply Thermal Camera Products. Individual will setup and break down test configuration for units under test prior to and at the end of thermal testing. Individual will control environmental chambers thermal profile.
***No Experience Required. This is an entry level role with on-the-job training to do automated testing. (Strong computer skills required)
***Must be flexible to work 2nd or 3rd shift hours after 1 week of training on first shift.
***The testing qualification is done via computer systems. Only basic handling of the camera sensors like (replacing the batteries when needed).
LOCATION: North Billerica, Massachusetts 01862
POSITION: Right to Hire
PAY RANGE: $19.50hr
HOURS: 1 week training on 1st shift. Then will move to 2nd or 3rd Shift.
- First Shift - 7am to 3:30pm
- Second Shift 3pm to 11pm
- Third Shift 10:30pm to 7:00am

In accordance with established test procedures, during thermal cycling, individual will operate the product under test, monitor output for acceptance limits and collect a high volume of data for later processing. At defined times during the thermal cycling and operation, individual will transfer large volumes of data to support computers and will execute custom applications for additional test analysis. In accordance with the test procedure, individual will enter all appropriate data records into electronic test data sheets.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:
- Applicant must have strong Computer skills using a Microsoft Operating System
- Strong Aptitude to learn the operation of new custom SW applications
- Aptitude for following Test Procedures as well as recording and collecting data
- Must be available to work multiple shifts, including overnights and weekends
- Experience in formal product test environments (preferred)
- Mature, professional, dependable, takes pride in responsibility to perform highly accurate testing and collect flawless data records
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (Must have copy of Birth Cert or US Passport to interview per US Government regulations)
- Strong Computer skills. (MS Office Suite, Word, Excel etc.)
- High School Diploma or College Degree
