The operator ensures that all machinery operates efficiently and adheres to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities :
- Machine Setup and Operation :
- Set up machinery according to specifications and production schedules.
- Operate various types of machinery, including but not limited to CNC machines, lathes, mills, and presses.
- Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and ensure product quality.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting :
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, making minor repairs as needed.
- Report major mechanical problems to maintenance staff or supervisor.
- Quality Control :
- Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Monitor machine performance and product output, making adjustments as necessary.
- Record and report production data, including output levels, downtime, and quality metrics.
- Safety and Compliance :
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
