Diagnostic Radiological Med Physicist 1099

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Diagnostic Radiological Med Physicist 1099 - Long Term Care to work at a Facility in Fort Belvoir, VA. These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $135 / hour

• 1099

Shift: Various Shift

This is a 1099 position Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

The requirements are:

• At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Diagnostic Radiological Med Physicist
• A valid and current license issued within the US
• A valid and current CPR card
• Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintaining Equipment: Ensuring that X-ray, CT scans, MRI, and other imaging devices are working properly and safely.
• Quality Assurance: Regularly testing and calibrating equipment to ensure it provides clear and accurate images.
• Safety Monitoring: Ensuring that radiation exposure to patients and staff is minimized and within safe limits.
• Compliance: Ensuring imaging procedures comply with safety regulations and standards set by health authorities.
• Consulting: Providing advice to healthcare providers on imaging techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures.
• Training: Educating staff on the safe operation of radiological equipment and radiation protection.
