Staff-Up is seeking an Interior Horticultural Technician in Tampa FL
Hours: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
(FLEXIBLE with hours)
Pay Rate: $18 - $20
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle available each work day for transportation to the accounts.
- Must undergo a thorough background check before starting work.
- Vehicle liability insurance and a valid driver’s license are to be in place at all times.
- Mileage compensation will be provided.
Interior Horticultural/Landscape Technician Create installs for plants, etc. at commercial building, 5 star hotels, etc.
Must have a passion for Plants
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- The Interior Horticultural Service Technician is responsible for maintaining clients’ accounts (weekly route) assigned to their care.
- On a structured schedule and within an allotted time frame, the technician maintains exterior foliage plants (mainly in various office settings, hotels and large corporations) by using accepted horticultural techniques (trained)
- Watering and fertilizing all plants as necessary.
- Keeping all plants cleaned, trimmed and oriented to proper light.
- Removing any damaged or unsightly foliage.
- Make deliveries of new installation work orders and or replacement work orders.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Must be able to lift 10 lb. water buckets and/or load and unload 40-50 lb. water machines throughout the day.
- Must be able to climb ladders and have good dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to use scissors, pruners, hand saws, hoses and other small tools.
- Must be able to professionally communicate with clients and have a neat and clean appearance.This work requires good vision, hearing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and the ability to work a 10 hour day
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Experience:
- Gardening Tools: 1 year (Required)
- Landscaping: 1 year (Preferred)
- Handling insecticides, fertilizers, leaf cleaners: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
